Kentucky Equality Federation - Discrimination, Hate Crimes, and School Bulling Committee Opinions:

Whereas Kentucky Equality Federation is not an organization of attorney's, we have acted as a victim's advocate for people across the Commonwealth since 2005.  Kentucky Equality Federation receives many complaints, and the Discrimination, Hate Crimes, and School Bulling Committee is responsible for investigating these complains and determining an appropriate response on behalf of the victim.

  As of January 2010, opinions of the Committee are published online for the general public with permission from the victim/complainant; should the victim/complainant not want the Committee's opinion published, it shall remain classified.  Currently, Kentucky Equality Federation has 147 classified complaints (as of December 20, 2009). 

  Regardless of the action the Committee does or does not take, publishing these complaints shall raise awareness of homophobia across the Commonwealth.  It is the hope of the Discrimination, Hate Crimes, and School Bulling Committee that publishing these complaints (with permission) will raise awareness of hate, discrimination, and bulling across Kentucky; until we stare it in the face and analyze our own prejudices, our Commonwealth shall never change.
